CHP's Sarıgül points out shortcomings in the '8th Judicial Package'
CHP Erzincan Deputy Mustafa Sarıgül stated, "The 8th Judicial Package does not meet the expectations of society."

In a press conference held at the Parliament, Sarıgül reminded that the Draft Law on Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code and Certain Laws and Decree-Law No. 659, known in the public as the 8th Judicial Package, will be discussed in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly.
Stating that the 7 judicial packages that were previously enacted failed to provide solutions to problems, Mustafa Sarıgül expressed that the regulations made for various reasons created new grievances each time.
Sarıgül said, "The 8th Judicial Package is truly insufficient. The 8th Judicial Package does not meet the expectations of society."
REMINDED OF AMNESTY REGULATION
Suggesting that there is a great expectation for amnesty in society and that "it is essential to add an amnesty regulation to this package," Sarıgül also noted that a driver's license amnesty is needed for tradesmen drivers.
Sarıgül stated that he commemorates the 33 soldiers who were martyred as a result of an airstrike in Idlib on February 27, 2020, with mercy, gratitude, and respect, and said that those responsible for the martyrs must be held accountable.
Expressing that he also commemorates former Prime Minister Necmettin Erbakan with mercy on the 13th anniversary of his death, Sarıgül stated that a parliamentary inquiry should be opened regarding the February 28 process.
