CHP Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın made important statements regarding the DEM Party delegation's meeting at Imrali.

Günaydın said, "During the visit paid to us, the DEM delegation stated that Abdullah Öcalan would soon issue a call to lay down arms."

Sharing details regarding the meeting notes, Günaydın also conveyed that Ahmet Türk, who was removed from his post as Co-Mayor of Mardin Metropolitan Municipality and replaced by a government-appointed trustee, "had no demands such as autonomy or federation."

The delegation from the DEM Party, which included Pervin Buldan, Ahmet Türk, and Sırrı Süreyya Önder, is continuing its contacts with various political parties as part of the meetings at Imrali.

The delegation met with CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and party executives on January 7 to share the details of the meeting.
