Kılıçdaroğlu earthquake in the CHP base! He even surpassed Erdoğan

While the debates that began following the "absolute nullity" ruling in the CHP continue, the results of a new study shared with the public have drawn attention in the political agenda.

In the survey conducted by Akademik Link, voter opinions regarding the potential reinstatement of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu to the position of CHP Chairman by court order were examined.

In the research, various questions were directed to both CHP and AKP voters.

96 PERCENT OF CHP VOTERS OPPOSED THE DECISION

According to the survey, 93 percent of voters who voted for Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu in the previous presidential election stated that they found the "absolute nullity" decision wrong.

Among CHP voters, the rate of those who do not find it correct for Kılıçdaroğlu to be reinstated as chairman by court order was measured at 96 percent.

STRIKING RESULT IN THE AKP BASE

The results regarding AKP voters were also shared in the research.

Accordingly, the rate of those in the AKP base who find the "absolute nullity" decision correct was 48 percent, while the rate of those who find it wrong was recorded as 34 percent.

While the rate of AKP members who do not find it correct for Kılıçdaroğlu to become chairman by court order was measured at 47 percent, the rate of those who find it correct remained at 36 percent.

NEGATIVE VIEW RATE TOWARD KILIÇDAROĞLU ROSE TO 97 PERCENT

In the research, CHP voters were also asked about their views on Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

According to the survey results, 97 percent of CHP members expressed a negative opinion about Kılıçdaroğlu.

The rate of CHP members who expressed a negative opinion about Erdoğan was announced as 96 percent.

While the rate of those among CHP voters who view Erdoğan positively was 1.5 percent, the rate of those who approach Kılıçdaroğlu positively remained at 1.3 percent.

ÖZGÜR ÖZEL FORMING A NEW PARTY WAS ALSO ASKED

The research also included evaluations regarding CHP Chairman Özgür Özel forming a new party.

While 36.4 percent of CHP voters stated that it would be good for Özgür Özel to form a new party, 42 percent argued that it would not be good.

Among AKP voters, the rate of those who find it positive for Özel to form a new party was 35.2 percent, while the rate of those who find it negative was measured at 44 percent.

In the research, a question about regret was also directed to CHP voters who had previously voted for Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.

72 percent of the participants stated that they regretted voting for Kılıçdaroğlu.

It was announced that the research was conducted through announcements made via social media accounts on May 21-22, 2026.

In the survey, where the opinions of a total of 9 thousand 235 people were examined, it was stated that the margin of error was ±1.02 at a 95 percent confidence interval and ±1.34 at a 99 percent confidence interval.
