The CHP is preparing for its party bylaws congress, which it plans to hold in Sivas on September 4, the anniversary of the Sivas Congress, which is considered the first congress in the party's history.
According to a report by Cumhuriyet, party officials stated that the bylaws congress will begin on September 4 and continue with the meeting of the bylaws commission in Ankara on September 5, adding, "We are planning to conduct work that will last until September 9. We will evaluate the details of this at our Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting next Monday. We will also address the proposals coming from the party organizations regarding the bylaws there. Apart from this, our chairman will definitely meet with both the Party Assembly and the provincial chairs before September to listen to their suggestions for the bylaws. We also want to dedicate one day of the bylaws work to the party program, which will be like our election manifesto," they shared.
WE WILL RESIST IN THE HARSHES WAY POSSIBLE
On the other hand, party officials, who stated that they also evaluated the Parliament's busy agenda, ranging from the regulation on stray animals to the judicial package, at the MYK meeting held the other day, commented, "Our priority is to resist the regulations that the public objects to in the strongest way possible in Parliament."
