CHP's new group deputy chair has been determined

Ankara MP Murat Emir has become the new CHP group deputy chair.

The election for the CHP Group Deputy Chair position, which became vacant after Burcu Köksal became the Mayor of Afyonkarahisar, has been concluded.

CHP Ankara MP Murat Emir and İzmir MP Sevda Erdan Kılıç competed in the election.

In the vote, Murat Emir received 66 votes, while Sevda Erdan Kılıç received 48 votes.

Thus, Murat Emir has become the group deputy chair, replacing Burcu Köksal.

The CHP has 3 group deputy chairs in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).

The other 2 group deputy chairs are Istanbul MP Gökhan Günaydın and Mersin MP Ali Mahir Başarır.
