The Republican People's Party (CHP) continues to hold its "The Nation Protects Its Will" rallies, which it launched following the arrest of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor and the party's presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu on March 23 as part of an investigation into corruption allegations.
NEW RALLY LOCATION IN ISTANBUL ANNOUNCED
The ninth of the district rallies will be held on Wednesday, June 11. CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik announced that the ninth rally will take place in Avcılar.
In a post on his social media account, Çelik stated, "Together with our nation, we are protecting our will. We will not give up on defending the will of Istanbul and our mayors who were elected with the legitimate votes of our people. Either all together or none of us!"
The rally will be held at 8:30 PM on Marmara Street.
