Saadet Party Chairman Mahmut Arıkan has put forward a striking claim regarding ASELSAN, one of Turkey's defense industry companies. According to a report in Sözcü, Arıkan alleged that the U.S.-based fund management company BlackRock is interested in ASELSAN.

Arıkan also claimed that U.S. Ambassador Tom Barrack has been tasked with the potential acquisition process for ASELSAN, which has been brought to the agenda with a valuation of approximately 35 billion dollars.
