Hürriyet newspaper Editor-in-Chief Ahmet Hakan, in his column where he also evaluated the local elections, claimed that DEVA leader Ali Babacan and Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu would 'cozy up' to President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan after the local elections.

"THEY WILL SING THE SONG 'IT HAPPENED AND ENDED DISRESPECTFULLY'"

The relevant part of Hakan's column is as follows:

"After this election, Davutoğlu/Babacan will likely do things like this:

They will look for other jobs. / They will start writing their memoirs. / They will visit locksmiths. / They will make a move toward forming associations. / They will face reality a bit more. / They will watch their deputies disperse. / They will sing the song 'It happened and ended disrespectfully'. / They will attempt to cozy up to Erdoğan."
