Condolence messages for Gülşah Durbay from political figures

Manisa Şehzadeler Mayor Gülşah Durbay has passed away at the age of 37 in the hospital where she was receiving intensive care treatment.

CHP Deputy Chairman Burhanettin Bulut made a statement regarding the passing of Manisa Şehzadeler Mayor Gülşah Durbay, who died at the age of 37 in the hospital where she was receiving intensive care in İzmir.

In a statement on his social media account, Bulut used the following expressions:

"Oh, Gülşah… Another fire has fallen into our hearts from Manisa… Our Şehzadeler Mayor, my dear sister Gülşah Durbay, could not hold onto life despite all the struggle she put up. I wish God's mercy upon my sister Gülşah; I wish patience and condolences to her grieving family, her loved ones, and all of Manisa. May she rest in peace, may her soul be blessed..."

CHP Deputy Chairman Gül Çiftci wrote the following:

"Our Mayor Gülşah, who carried out her duty with great responsibility and sincerity; will be remembered for her love for Manisa and Şehzadeler, her labor, and her grace. Her departure from among us at a young age has left an indescribable void in all of our hearts. I wish patience to her family, her relatives, our organization, the people of Manisa, the employees of Şehzadeler Municipality, and all her loved ones. Our condolences."

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş shared on his social media account: "Our pain is immense, words are stuck in our throats...

I am in deep sorrow over the loss of our Manisa Şehzadeler Mayor, Gülşah Durbay. She was not just a mayor; she was a fighter who, in the prime of her youth, stood tall even against the most difficult illness, saying 'I will work for my people,' and who was an example to us all with her determination.

Even in the most difficult days of her illness, she never let the smile fade from her face or the love of service from her heart. We were pleased with her, may God also be pleased with her. We will never forget her struggle, her smiling face, and her courage."

Former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu used the following expressions after Durbay's passing:
