According to a written statement from the BBP, Destici spoke over the phone with Müsavat Dervişoğlu, who was elected chairman after receiving the votes of 611 delegates in the third round of the İYİ Party's 5th Extraordinary Grand Congress.
During the conversation, Destici conveyed his wishes that the results of the congress would bring prosperity to Dervişoğlu himself, his family, the İYİ Party community, Turkish politics, and the country.
