Corruption allegation against ABB from AKP's Gökçek! 47 thousand boxes in 5 trucks...

AKP Ankara Deputy Osman Gökçek held a press conference regarding the issue, alleging that corruption took place in the paper cup and trash bag tenders of ABB Mayor Mansur Yavaş.

"MANSUR BEY HAD SAID THESE MATERIALS WERE TRANSPORTED BY 5 TRUCKS"

Gökçek stated that Mansur Yavaş claimed these materials were transported by 5 trucks, but that this was physically impossible. Asserting that they have proven the 5 trucks in question could only hold 3 thousand items, Gökçek said, "Mansur Bey had said these materials were transported by 5 trucks. I want to prove that this is physically impossible. A total of 140 million cups is equivalent to 47 thousand boxes. They claim they transported these 47 thousand boxes with 5 trucks. The truck you see behind me consists of 4 sections. Each section holds 150 boxes. That is, it has a total capacity to hold 600 boxes. The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality claims it fit 140 million cups into 5 trucks. This is physically impossible. If they claim they transported 108 trucks' worth of materials with 5 trucks, the robbery here is clear and obvious. Because the number that can fit into 5 trucks is 3 thousand. Where is the number 47 thousand here, and where is the number 3 thousand? It is not possible for you to fit this here," he assessed.

"WHERE ARE THE WAYBILL REPORTS FOR THESE TRUCKS?"

Gökçek stated that it is unclear where the waybill reports and license plates of the trucks are, and to which warehouses and by whom these trucks were delivered, adding, "Where are the waybill reports for these trucks? Where are the license plates? To which warehouses were these vehicles delivered and how? I am emphasizing this again. If these trucks do not exist, the robbery is clearly evident. This means the goods were not delivered. Because I am showing it physically. They say they transported these goods with 5 trucks. If they transported them with 5 trucks, where is the rest? They need to provide an answer to this," he stated.

Gökçek added that the situation is suspicious and that they will follow up on the matter.
