Cost of living is the main agenda at the AKP Central Executive Board meeting

The AKP Central Executive Board (MYK) will convene today under the chairmanship of President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. 

The main agenda item of the meeting will be the rising cost of living and economic problems in Turkey.

While evaluations regarding the economy will be made at the MYK, reports on the first phase of the “Turkey Meetings” program, which the party launched this month, will also be discussed. 

The results of these meetings, which reflect the demands and expectations of citizens across Turkey, are expected to guide the party's future policies.

NEW CONSTITUTION EFFORTS

In addition, important issues to be discussed in Parliament during the new legislative term, primarily efforts for a new constitution, are also expected to be on the agenda. 

The decisions to emerge from the meeting will point to possible new steps in the government's economic policies.
