Crowd grows in front of CHP Headquarters: Police vehicles dispatched

Extraordinary developments took place during the night at the Republican People's Party (CHP) headquarters in Ankara following a decision of absolute nullity. While security measures around the party building were significantly increased, it was observed that numerous police vehicles were dispatched to the area.

According to information obtained, party members, including CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, began keeping watch at the building following the critical decision. Meanwhile, allegations that former chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu had made an official application for the evacuation of the building caused unrest within the party.

Following these developments, statements made by CHP provincial organizations reiterated the call for all members to gather in front of the headquarters. Party officials stated that they were waiting for the evacuation order to be served, while the area in front of the building became crowded with the support of party members throughout the night.

CLASH BETWEEN KILIÇDAROĞLU SUPPORTERS AND PARTY MEMBERS

A dispute occurred between party members close to Kılıçdaroğlu who came to the front of the Headquarters and the party members keeping watch inside the headquarters.

MAHMUT TANAL ADDRESSED KILIÇDAROĞLU

CHP Şanlıurfa Deputy Mahmut Tanal shared footage of the tension in front of the headquarters on his social media account. Addressing Kılıçdaroğlu, Tanal stated, "Mafia-like thugs are attacking the Republican People's Party Headquarters. They are trying to make brother fight brother. I am addressing Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. Withdraw the mafia-like thugs you sent to the headquarters."

 

"A FEW DEPUTIES ARE TRYING TO RAID THE PARTY WITH MAFIA-TYPE PEOPLE"

As the tension in front of the headquarters increased, CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır made statements. Başarır said, "You see what is happening. A few deputies have come here with mafia-type people and are trying to raid the party. They came in a planned manner in the early hours of the morning. I invite everyone to protect the headquarters. People who look like drug dealers, who look like mafia, and who are armed and of uncertain origin are coming here. It is a shame, a shame, a shame! May God damn those who brought the party and the country to this state! May the labor these people have given for years be forbidden to them!"

MÜSLİM SARI: WE ARE WITHDRAWING

CHP deputies close to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, namely Orhan Sarıbal, Deniz Demir, Müslim Sarı, Mahir Polat, Hasan Öztürkmen, and Hüseyin Yıldız, held a phone conversation with the deputies at the headquarters in front of the door. In his statement, Müslim Sarı said, "We came to talk, but we could not achieve it. We are withdrawing."
