Davutoğlu: Turkey's hypocritical policies toward Israel will be remembered in the future

The Saadet Party and the Future Party held their weekly group meeting. At the meeting, Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu and, on behalf of Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu, Group Deputy Chairman Bülent Kaya spoke.

Davutoğlu stated that one-third of Israel's iron and steel needs, as well as its jet fuel and food, are supplied from Turkey, saying, "Such a hypocritical policy has never been seen before."

Davutoğlu stated that the government cannot defend this policy, adding, "These may be ignored or obscured for a while with the propaganda tactics of the Directorate of Communications, but rest assured, just as the Boraltan Bridge was not forgotten, and just as that heartless policy toward Algeria eventually forced Turkey to apologize, these images will be remembered by future generations, especially by the children of Gaza."

"A TABLEAU OF SHAME"

Davutoğlu stated that the hearts of 85 million people in Turkey beat for the children of Gaza, saying, "This tableau of shame, this hypocritical policy will surely come to an end one day."

The Saadet Party also held its weekly group meeting. Group Deputy Chairman Bülent Kaya spoke on behalf of Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu.

Kaya criticized Turkey's policies toward Israel, stating, "We are exporting important materials such as iron and steel, jet fuel, and food to Israel. This situation enables Israel to increase its military power in the region and continue its attacks on the civilian population in Gaza."

Kaya stated that the government cannot defend this policy and warned that it will be held accountable for this policy in the future.
