Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Co-Chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan, accompanied by Deputy Co-Chair Mehmet Rüştü Tiryaki, will visit Silivri Prison on Wednesday, June 19. The delegation plans to meet with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer, former Van Co-Mayor Bekir Kaya, Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan, TİP Hatay MP Can Atalay, Ercüment Akdeniz, Halil Aksoy, Nesimi Aday, and Ahmet Saymadi.

In a statement released by the DEM Party, it was noted: "Our Co-Chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan, along with our Deputy Co-Chair Mehmet Rüştü Tiryaki, will meet with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, former Van Co-Mayor Bekir Kaya, Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer, Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan, TİP Hatay MP Can Atalay, and political prisoners Ercüment Akdeniz, Halil Aksoy, Nesimi Aday, and Ahmet Saymadi at Silivri Prison on Thursday, June 19. The meetings, which will begin during morning business hours, are expected to continue throughout the day."
