DEM Party initiates visit request for İmamoğlu and other detainees! Application to be made to the Ministry of Justice

A delegation consisting of DEM Party Co-Chairs and executives will make an official application to the Ministry of Justice to visit Ekrem İmamoğlu, Can Atalay, Ahmet Saymadi, and other political detainees held in Silivri Prison.

Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Co-Chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan, along with Deputy Chair Mehmet Rüştü Tiryaki, will apply to the Ministry of Justice to meet with detainees in Silivri, including Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu.

APPLICATION TO BE MADE TO THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE

According to information provided by the DEM Party, the delegation will request to visit not only Ekrem İmamoğlu but also Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer, former Van Co-Mayor Bekir Kaya, Gezi Park trial detainee and Hatay MP Can Atalay, as well as Halil Aksoy and Ahmet Saymadi.

Party officials stated in an announcement made a few weeks ago that they would apply to the ministry to go to Silivri and expressed their desire to visit Ekrem İmamoğlu in prison after the holiday.
