DEM Party's Ankara decision: They will not field candidates in those districts!

DEM Party Ankara Metropolitan Municipality co-mayoral candidate Öztürk Türkdoğan announced that while the DEM Party is fielding co-mayoral candidates in 24 out of 27 districts in Ankara, they are not fielding co-mayoral candidates in Ankara's Yenimahalle, Polatlı, and Bala districts.

"THERE IS NO ALLIANCE IN THE FUNDAMENTAL SENSE"

According to a report by Selda Güneysu from Cumhuriyet, Türkdoğan stated, "There is no alliance in the fundamental sense as has been suggested in Ankara. We have metropolitan candidates, and we are asking for votes from our people everywhere for our metropolitan candidates. We have municipal council members for our party in Yenimahalle, and we are asking for votes for our municipal council members. Other than that, we have no stance anywhere to 'support this party'."
