Regarding the dialogue between CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli at the opening reception of the new legislative year, he said, "We are in favor of communication in politics. We meet with almost every party, except for the political extensions of the PKK, and we find it valuable for this to happen."

Destici began the press conference he held at his party's headquarters by wishing the new legislative year to be beneficial for the country, the nation, and the political parties in Parliament.

Stating that regulations and reforms in the social security system in the new legislative year should be made without deviating from justice, Destici also said that they find the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's new regulation regarding imitation, adulteration, and fraudulent food important in terms of food safety and public health.

Mustafa Destici touched upon Israel's attacks, stating that in addition to reacting to the humanitarian situation, law, and human rights violations occurring in the region, Turkey must take and is taking all kinds of measures regarding its own security.

'OUR STANCE WILL CONTINUE DECISIVELY'

Responding to questions from members of the press, Destici, when asked how he evaluated "MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's handshake with DEM Party members at the opening of the new legislative year of the Turkish Grand National Assembly," noted the following:

"Our stance is clear; during my time in Parliament, I did not attend any session chaired by the deputy speaker of the so-called political party, which is known by everyone to be the political extension of the PKK and which is not denied by them, I did not greet any of them, nor did I shake hands with any of them. Until they reject the bloody and treacherous PKK terrorist organization and completely sever their ties with them, this stance of ours will continue decisively."

'WE LEAVE THE JUDGMENT TO OUR NATION'

In response to a question regarding the dialogue between CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and Bahçeli at the opening reception, Destici replied, "We are in favor of communication in politics. We meet with almost every party, except for the political extensions of the PKK, and we find it valuable for this to happen. Because we will solve our problems by talking. We leave the judgment of the dialogue to our nation."
