Dervişoğlu's Palace jab at Akşener: 'There is no place in the İYİ Party for so-called politics emerging from the dark corridors of the Palace'
İYİ Party leader Müsavat Dervişoğlu reacted to the 'normalization' and 'softening' process in politics. Dervişoğlu also stated, "There is no place in the İYİ Party for so-called politics where a thousand candles of intrigue burn in a thousand rooms, emerging from the dark corridors of the Palace. In our politics, the only hand to hold is the calloused hand of our nation," while also addressing the visit of Ayşe Ateş, the wife of Sinan Ateş, to Erdoğan.

PALACE JAB AT AKŞENER
Dervişoğlu stated, "There is no place in the İYİ Party for so-called politics where a thousand candles of intrigue burn in a thousand rooms, emerging from the dark corridors of the Palace. In our politics, the only hand to hold is the calloused hand of our nation."
These words by Dervişoğlu were interpreted as a jab at the surprise visit made by former İYİ Party Chairwoman Meral Akşener to the Palace.
Highlights from Dervişoğlu's statements are as follows:
"Since the founding of the İYİ Party, dynamics in Turkey have begun to change. This change materialized with the demands and objections of millions of people uniting under the roof of the İYİ Party. The İYİ Party continues to increase its power to represent these demands coming from broad segments of society.
Our party's struggle is against those who use our local values for their own interests, those who see our natural resources as war booty, and those who turn our cities into piles of concrete. I believe we can win together, because victory is the union of many hearts.
REACTION TO THE NORMALIZATION PROCESS
For weeks, we have been addressing Erdoğan's tactics to divert the agenda from this podium. As long as these tactics prevent real problems from being discussed and solved, they cause our society to be dragged into poorer and more unjust conditions. The most prominent agenda item is the so-called 'normalization' process.
They are even shouting like street peddlers selling combs on a ferry, saying 'Normalization is here, New Constitution is free.' We are aware of the facts. We also know what the things announced with great fanfare by the Presidential Directorate of Communications, otherwise known as the 'Directorate of the One-Man's Trumpet,' serve.
The corruption, poverty, loss of identity, and the one-man system itself are what we stand against. Despite all kinds of impositions and games played on us, we are rebelling against this freak order. We certainly do not need those who drink loyalty as if it were boza, nor the sellers who accompany them. We will never drink the 'well-behaved child' syrup that the government and its cronies distribute so generously.
"THE ONLY HAND TO HOLD IS THE CALLOUSED HAND OF OUR NATION"
Let everyone be sure that those who wear this badge with honor are those who never forget for a second that they are the representatives of the nation. And no pen signed by those who carry this badge with honor has ever produced evil or calamity. It will not happen from now on either. Our view of politics is this: Just as there is a hierarchy of norms in law, there is a hierarchy of interests and consciences in politics. At the very top of this hierarchy lies the common interest and common conscience of the nation. All other issues fall below it. The existence of the state is a whole with the existence and independence of the nation. The meaning of the state duty we jointly undertake is subject to this condition, that is, the covenant with the nation.
With this covenant, you give a great promise that you will shoulder two burdens. One burden is the responsibility of the nation's vote. The other burden is the responsibility of the nation's trust. And if those carried burdens are dropped, that path is no longer the path of politics. Whatever its name or form, it is a path of personal ambition and future. And history, unfortunately, is full of those who combine their personal ambitions with the political ambitions of occupiers, and those who try to explain this in some way. There is no place in the İYİ Party for so-called politics where a thousand candles of intrigue burn in a thousand rooms, emerging from the dark corridors of the Palace. In our politics, the only hand to hold is the calloused hand of our nation."
REACTION TO MINISTER ŞİMŞEK: 'PRIORITIZING THE INTERESTS OF BRITISH FINANCIAL CAPITAL...'
Because of this model, which is called a new economic model but is actually a projection of an old and decrepit management approach, the Central Bank lost 818 billion TL. Where did this money go? To industrial investments? To incentives for youth? Or to agricultural subsidies? It all went to the Currency Protected Deposit system. From now on, since we are the country that gives the highest interest on foreign currency, it will go to speculators and foreign funds again.
Mehmet Şimşek; you are prioritizing the interests of British financial capital over the interests of your own citizens. As much as you walk the streets of Soho, be among the people for once. Listen to the troubles experienced by retirees, minimum wage earners, unemployed graduates, and housewives. Then ask your own conscience. Is there a justifiable reason for not raising the minimum wage and pensions?
'SİNAN ATEŞ' RESPONSE TO ERDOĞAN
I sincerely hope that this holiday will be the last one the Ateş family spends without the shadow of justice. Erdoğan, in your meeting with Ayşe Ateş, under the shadow of the office of a world leader and your authority to intervene in every judicial process, you should have said, 'Yes, I am the one-man of this country, the president, but I cannot touch the murderers.' While asking about the state of those girls, you should think that what you have is a pile of paper whose content is a release, even if its name is an indictment, and you cannot even explain the cause of their father's death, and you should realize how you will overcome this burden.

The Diyanet (Presidency of Religious Affairs), thank you, always thinks of its Muslim brother. It tells our citizens who want to perform the sacrifice ritual, let's sacrifice the animal in other countries, you can't go yourself, but thanks to us, at least perform your worship abroad. The Diyanet, which never compromises on official vehicles and scientific trips, says; give us the money, nobody will give you a visa anyway, and you don't need meat, so perform istikhara (prayer for guidance), maybe you'll see it in your dreams.
The holiday bonus it distributes to its citizens is 3,000 TL, not as a right, but as a favor. The dates for the bonuses to be deposited are June 12-13-14; the holiday is on the 16th; the average small cattle is 12,500 liras. A ram is 15,000 liras. A share of large cattle is 25,000 liras.
Our citizens can buy one-fourth of a small animal and one-eighth of a large animal with this bonus. While seven people can participate in a large animal according to our religion, in Erdoğan's Turkey, 8 retirees cannot come together to cover one-seventh of a sacrifice share."
