Dervişoğlu's reaction to the government on 'pension': 'The destruction plan began in 2008'

İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu made statements regarding the agenda at his party's weekly group meeting in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).

Starting his speech by criticizing the penalty given to national football player Merih Demiral due to the "grey wolf" gesture during the Turkey-Austria match, Dervişoğlu said, "The grey wolf is the symbol of Turkishness; I kiss Merih Demiral on his forehead."

Continuing his speech by drawing attention to femicides, Dervişoğlu used the expressions, "Enough is enough, take your hands off our women. I am speaking from the podium of this nation; let us come together to end femicides, let us put an end to this brutality. We are tired of your absurdities and your heedlessness. Get out."

"THE DESTRUCTION PLAN FOR RETIREES BEGAN IN 2008"

Making criticisms regarding the economy, Dervişoğlu noted that the raise given to pensions means mocking the citizens.

Dervişoğlu said, "As always, there is a world of difference between what the AKP government says and what it does. AKP means deception, it means setting a trap for the citizens. The destruction plan for retirees began in 2008. The pension calculation system was changed in 2008 with a so-called reform. If that change had not been made, the lowest pension today would be over 30 thousand liras."

We are bound to Turkishness with an oath of justice, to our nation with an oath of loyalty, to our Republic with an oath of freedom, and to our ancestors with an oath of gratitude! We are here to not leave the field to the 'mankurts' (brainwashed individuals) and to revive the grey wolves! We are here as the voice of the nation, the tears of mothers, and the screams of children against those who do not see the tears of mothers but look at the smiles of the powerful; who are deaf to the cry of the nation but hear even the whispers of their masters, and we are shouting like grey wolves: Let justice be served, even if the world ends.
