Devlet Bahçeli reacts to protests! 'To call vandalism a democracy watch...'

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, who made a statement on his social media account, criticized the CHP in harsh terms.

In his statement on his social media account, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli said, "From the sick CHP, which has lined up to block Turkey's path with the Saraçhane provocation, to other marginal parties and illegal leftist groups, they have all positioned themselves in a line that makes one not miss our enemies with their intentions, actions, and words." Regarding the claims about his illness, Bahçeli said, "It is known to us how the diabolical intentions that produce campaigns of sedition and gossip regarding my treatment process want to fuel street anarchy."

"The late Ziya Gökalp, who shone like the Canopus star in our intellectual life, once poured this sentence, which was captured with precision and care, onto white pages: 'A person whose ideas do not correspond to and rely on their feelings is spiritually ill.'

To expect those who have irreparable damage in their thoughts and words to be spiritually healthy is, in essence, rowing against the wind and wasting time in vain.

From the sick CHP, which has lined up to block Turkey's path with the Saraçhane provocation, to other marginal parties and illegal leftist groups, they have all positioned themselves in a line that makes one not miss our enemies with their intentions, actions, and words.

We are facing an opposition mentality that is so detached from reality that it calls vandalism a democracy watch, and which has become alienated from its nation and state, bohemian, and whose commission has long been paid.

At a time when our country's rising value and prestige are visibly gaining speed and momentum, those who suddenly activated the Saraçhane conspiracy are collaborators who have been taken hostage by enemies of the Turks and Turkey, and who are servants to falsehood inspired by this. Those scoundrels who wear masks and throw stones at our police, throw axes, attack with fireworks, and spray acid have nothing to do with democracy, law, or freedom.

Those who say 'persecution began in 1453' and who defile the Şehzadebaşı Mosque and its graveyard are nothing but a handful of spy apparatuses and urban bandits. Those who urinate on mosque walls, those who portray burning and destroying as democracy, and those who waste municipal resources—which are the sweat and honest labor of our nation—in a vortex of organized bribery, theft, and corruption must be held accountable before history and justice. The insults directed at our President's late and honorable mother show who has taken to the streets to hold the bridgeheads. It is known to us how the diabolical intentions that produce campaigns of sedition and gossip regarding my treatment process want to fuel street anarchy.

We will defend the Republic of Turkey at the cost of our lives.

The People's Alliance is capable of breaking the multi-dimensional wave of incitement and destruction for which the CHP is the informant and reporter host. Because the great Turkish nation is with us. Those who are puppets of foreign intelligence organizations and take to the streets, and those who disrupt the internal security and peace environment, must be grabbed by the collar. Turkey is not a toy and will not fall for dark games.

On this Night of Power (Laylat al-Qadr), which is better than a thousand months, my prayer to Almighty Allah is that He does not withhold His mercy, compassion, and forgiveness from our nation, and that He preserves our national unity and thousand-year brotherhood forever. With the wish to know the value of our homeland, our flag, our independence, our survival, our sacred values, and many of our national and spiritual values; I congratulate our noble nation and the Turkish-Islamic world on their exceptional, blessed, and magnificent Night of Power, which is heralded by glorious dawns, with my prayers."
