DMM statement on 'crisis between Erdoğan and Şimşek' claims! What happened before the election?

Tv100 columnist Fuat Uğur, in his article titled "The holiday is over, now the Mehmet Şimşek wind will blow!", claimed that before the local elections, the relationship between AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek had reached a breaking point.

Uğur included the following statements in his article:

"In the final critical turn, Erdoğan pushed Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek quite hard, saying, 'Do something, let's solve this problem.' But Minister Şimşek resisted. So much so that the tension in the cabinet, 15 days before the election, brought the relationship between Mehmet Şimşek and President Tayyip Erdoğan to a very dangerous point, even if it did not break it completely.

Mehmet Şimşek put his ministry on the table. He reminded him of what they had discussed and agreed upon previously. The global system, as if it had 'sensed' the tension, sent message after message to President Erdoğan, directly or indirectly, conveying that they preferred to work with Mehmet Şimşek and that this contributed greatly to Turkey's credibility and its status as an investable country."

Following the claim that dominated the agenda, the Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM), affiliated with the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, issued a statement.

The following was noted in the statement made by the DMM:

"The claim appearing in some media outlets that 'a crisis emerged between President Erdoğan and Minister Şimşek and the crisis was resolved with the intervention of the global system' is not true. There has been no tension between our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the Minister of Treasury and Finance, Mehmet Şimşek, as alleged. The Medium-Term Program and the 12th Development Plan, which determine the roadmap for our country's economy, will continue to be implemented with determination, just as they have been until now."
