Warning from DMM on 'Erdoğan': 'They are using his voice to commit fraud'

The Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM), affiliated with the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, has issued warnings via social media.

It was pointed out that fraud is being committed using the phishing method by utilizing the voice of President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The statement shared by the DMM on social media is as follows:

"Advertisements published on some social media platforms and websites using the name of the Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ) and the voice of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, with titles such as 'investment opportunity' and 'extra income' are phishing-based fraud attempts. Do not share your personal information with these or similar websites. Do not give credence to such fraudulent activities carried out on digital platforms with the promise of 'earning money.' Follow the statements made on the official websites of public institutions and organizations."
