DSP Chairman Önder Aksakal announced that they will support the People's Alliance in the local elections.

Önder Aksakal pointed out that the March 31, 2024 elections carry a slightly different character than previous local elections, stating, "Because the Parliamentary and Presidential elections held on May 14-28 saw the social approach evolve into an understanding that aligns with the 100th anniversary of our Republic, ensuring the consolidation of our founding values under the leadership of the People's Alliance."

"THE SUCCESS OF THE ALLIANCE WILL BE PARAMOUNT"

Aksakal used the following expressions:

"Now, with these local elections, in order for this to become even more permanent and stronger, the local elections must also be won with the components of the People's Alliance, and from now on, both the ruling wing and the main opposition wing of politics should emerge from the People's Alliance structure. In this context, we held a meeting with our President, and the talks between AK Party and DSP officials will begin in the coming days. In a process structured around the victory of People's Alliance candidates in 1392 electoral districts, the priority will naturally be the success of the alliance, not the parties."
