Eid message from CHP Chairman Özgür Özel: We promise

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel released a message on his social media account for the Ramadan Feast (Eid al-Fitr).

In his Eid message, Özel stated that they were welcoming this holiday with a heavy heart, saying, "Alongside a major economic crisis, we are experiencing a deep crisis of justice and democracy. We are going through a period where the peace and prosperity of our nation are being sacrificed for the interests of a handful of people, and where the power of the state is being used against the nation."

Özel, who released the message on his X social media account, included the following statements in his post:

"Holidays are blessed days when our nation strengthens its unity and grows its solidarity.

However, unfortunately, we are welcoming this Eid with a heavy heart, together with our people.

Alongside a major economic crisis, we are experiencing a deep crisis of justice and democracy. We promise:
