Ekrem İmamoğlu criticizes government over 'master' attitude

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and Republican People's Party presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu expressed his criticisms of the government in a video shared on his social media account.

In his post, İmamoğlu emphasized that the government has become detached from the public, stating, "I said they had no face to show at the markets or bazaars; now they have no state left to face the people."

Stating that officials living in comfortable palaces and luxurious lives can neither hear nor see the public, İmamoğlu expressed his reaction with the words, "You came as men of the people, but you became masters to the people. You are blind to this nation now."
