Ekrem İmamoğlu's first statement on the incoming results

İmamoğlu stated that he is pleased with the current picture. Ekrem İmamoğlu spoke as follows:

We are currently tracking the data; we have a strong team under the leadership of our provincial chair.... We have a strong data flow system. The picture we are seeing right now is highly satisfying to us. However, no election is concluded until it is over; the vote counting process is ongoing.

The IMM votes are being counted, and we can speak based on those votes right now. But the data from the district mayoralties and district council memberships are just as important to us as this information. It is producing the holistic results we aimed to achieve in this election.

I heartfully thank all our citizens. On such a day, which is a wedding for our Republic and our democracy, we have good data regarding their fulfillment of their sensitivity in casting their votes.

To our friends working at the ballot boxes, it is very important that the presidential elections conclude in order to quickly wrap up the agenda, no matter how long it takes, with the same sensitivity and without any issues; good data is flowing in, but we will make clearer statements once all these questions find their answers.

I will come before you again to make a statement in the coming time. Right now, our eyes are on the ballot boxes and on our friends working there. We want their quick and secure returns as well.

I wish the results to be auspicious for our city, our districts, and our country.
