Ekrem İmamoğlu is in Murat Kurum's crosshairs! 'Theft' accusation...

Murat Kurum, the People's Alliance's Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) mayoral candidate, attended the "Konya Fellow Citizens Meeting" held at a hotel in Bakırköy.

"WE WILL SEND YOU ON AN INDEFINITE VACATION ON MARCH 31"

Speaking after the program, Kurum targeted the incumbent mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu. Arguing that he encounters the interest of citizens everywhere he goes, Kurum said, "Those who see this favor are confused about what to do. They are swaying from one side to the other. We have an ignorant mayor who stops at nothing to change the agenda. There is a mayor who has no interest in Istanbul, who practices part-time municipalism, and who practices social media municipalism. We say to this mayor, 'There is little time left until March 31. On March 31, we will send you on an indefinite vacation.'"

"On March 31, the people of Istanbul will give such an answer to you and your mentality at the ballot box that you will be stunned," said Kurum, continuing as follows:

"From now on, whether you go on vacation, go skiing, or pursue other ambitions... Whether you go and become the co-chair of the CHP or stab your current co-chair, whom you walk the path with, in the back, that is for you to decide. All of Turkey has been seeing what you have been doing for 5 years. You left all the friends you walked the path with by the wayside. You spent Istanbul's resources to sideline the party leader you called 'my big brother' at the congress."

'THEFT' ACCUSATION AGAINST İBB

Claiming that the resources of the İBB are being wasted, Kurum said, "They are stealing Istanbul's resources. They are spending Istanbul's money for their own ambitions, but there is little time left. 30 days from now, we will come to Saraçhane and hold you accountable one by one for all the resources you have spent and wasted."
