Ekrem İmamoğlu speaks on Murat Kurum blocking TOKİ victims' camera: 'After March 31...'

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu attended the opening of the Pendik City Restaurant.
Responding to journalists' questions after the opening, İmamoğlu made statements regarding the current agenda.
İmamoğlu, when asked about the dialogue AKP's IMM candidate Murat Kurum had with TOKİ victims, replied, "Coming face-to-face with society and chatting closely always requires habit. The style of dialogue is not easy. He needs some time. He will go through an adjustment period, and he will have that much time anyway. He will probably return to his post after March 31."
İmamoğlu was also asked about the words of a woman who told Kurum, "I have a plot in Beykoz, it was supposed to undergo urban transformation for 5 years. We are waiting for the gentleman to return from vacation and sign it. Save us."
"MA'AM PLEASE CALL US, I AM NOT ON VACATION"
Ekrem İmamoğlu stated regarding the matter, "I had it checked on the first day; there is no such place. I am making a call from here. Ma'am, please call us. I am not on vacation, I am in Istanbul. If she does not call me during the day, I will believe that this matter is a well-staged setup."

The dialogue between AKP's Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate Murat Kurum and TOKİ victims had been widely discussed.
Following a woman's words, "My father died of cancer out of grief, my mother was evicted by the landlord, we have been victims for 6 years," Kurum had intervened with the camera using his hand, saying, "One minute, there is no such thing."
