Ekrem İmamoğlu takes a jab at the İYİ Party!

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) mayoral candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu spoke at Yaşar Kemal Square in Esenyurt.

Reminding the audience that there is little time left until the local elections, İmamoğlu said, "The guardian of Istanbul is all of Istanbul. We will not eat anyone's rights, nor will we let anyone's rights be eaten."

"THOSE 17 FRIENDS COMING FROM ANKARA..."

Reading the banners in the area, İmamoğlu reacted to the Presidential Cabinet members who were conducting election campaigns.

Imamoğlu said, "Who is the Cabinet? Those 17 friends coming from Ankara, I don't know them."

"If I don't love the 16 million people of this city equally, one by one, I am a scoundrel," said İmamoğlu, adding, "All the voices and all the colors of this city meet in these squares. The name Yaşar Kemal will suit these squares very well."

CALL TO 'DO NOT SPLIT YOUR VOTES'

In the continuation of his speech, İmamoğlu called out to citizens, telling them 'not to split their votes.'

Stating, "Never allow votes to be given to a handful of people," İmamoğlu said, "Do not split your votes. We will combine our votes and our strengths. We will act together."

WHAT DID HE SAY ABOUT THE İYİ PARTY?

Taking a jab at the İYİ Party, which decided to enter the local elections 'freely and independently,' İmamoğlu stated, "This is not the time for partisanship. We are the great alliance of a populist Istanbul. We are a great people's alliance that thinks of its people, thinks beyond parties, thinks of its city, and thinks of its citizens. Some may want to burn the blanket because they are angry at a flea. Don't ever let this happen. We will always unite. We will win by uniting."
