Ekrem İmamoğlu, the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) mayoral candidate re-nominated by the CHP, addressed citizens in the Adalar district.
"I am telling you clearly, tomorrow, with God's permission, justice and brotherhood will win," said İmamoğlu, adding the following:
"Tomorrow, merit and performance will win, not favoritism and nepotism. We are doers, we are pro-people. I owe a debt of gratitude to our mayor Erdem Gül for his services during his term, with whom we worked together. Starting tomorrow, we are setting out on this path with Ali Ercan Akpolat, the brother and friend of the Adalar.
As always, we expect a record level of votes from the people of the Adalar. We expect your votes both for the metropolitan municipality and for the metropolitan municipal council.
Just as we put a stop to waste and injustice for 5 years, we will continue to be the guardians of Istanbul."
