Election message from Gökhan Günaydın in Borçka: They should not run from the ballot box

CHP Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın delivered a message regarding elections and ballot security during his speech at the opening of the district headquarters in the Borçka district of Artvin.

In addition to Günaydın, CHP Deputy Chairmen Yüksel Taşkın, Seyit Torun, Tahsin Ocaklı, Murat Çan, and Artvin Deputy Uğur Bayraktutan attended the program. Before the opening, party members and citizens gathered in front of the Borçka Municipality and marched to the party building with slogans of "A free future, a free Turkey."

Starting his speech by conveying the greetings of CHP Chairman Özgür Özel to the people of the Black Sea region, Günaydın emphasized the founding process of the Republic and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Günaydın drew attention to the importance of common sense and democracy in the struggle carried out with the opening of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

In his message regarding the election process, Günaydın called on the government to face the ballot box, stating that votes must be counted according to the principle of accurate and open counting.

"They should not intend to kick the ballot box. They should not try to influence the vote that will enter the ballot box. They should not create obstacles to the counting of the votes cast in the ballot box according to the principle of open counting. And more importantly, they should not run from the election. They should come out to the street, let us see them."

Continuing his speech, Günaydın emphasized "hope," stating, "They fired many bullets at our hope. Some of those bullets hit our bodies. There were those who tore our hearts apart. Sometimes there were those who prevented us from taking steps for a certain period. We stood up. We revived our hope. Now is the time not to let them fire bullets at our hope. We will win together," he said.
