Election reaction from Ömer Çelik: 'Our firm stance will continue'

AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik is making statements regarding his party's MYK agenda. Reacting to the so-called elections planned in northern Syria, Çelik stated, "We will not allow a 'terroristan' to be established. These so-called elections will be evaluated as a development that threatens national security and will be responded to immediately."

We will maintain our firm stance. Marketing this as democracy under the pretext of fighting DAESH is unacceptable. In essence, it means the establishment of a 'terroristan'. They are exploiting a method to establish a terror state. This could lead to greater chaos. It will be evaluated as a development that threatens Syria's territorial integrity and Turkey, and it will be intervened in immediately.''
