In the Siverek district of Şanlıurfa, the Provincial Election Board has decided to renew the elections.
The Provincial Election Board evaluated the objection filed by the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) regarding the election results in the Siverek district.
Following the review, the Board decided to renew the election.
According to the unofficial results of the March 31 Local Administration General Elections in Siverek, AK Party candidate Ali Murat Bucak received 40.23 percent of the votes, while New Welfare Party candidate Hasan İzol received 40.17 percent.
