CHP Kemalpaşa Mayoral Candidate Mehmet Türkmen, accompanied by CHP Kemalpaşa District Chair Ahmet Yılmaz, visited the Lezita Factory in Kemalpaşa to support the strike initiated by the Öz Gıda-İş Union.

Türkmen criticized the factory management, which has been in the spotlight for bringing in workers from India to replace those dismissed following the strike decision, and stated that he was saddened by the factory's use of loud techno music to drown out the voices of the striking workers.

‘I AM ALWAYS BY YOUR SIDE’

Giving a message of support to the striking workers, Türkmen said, "The only concern of the laborer is for their hard work to be rewarded and to provide for their family comfortably. Disagreements can happen; these are situations consistent with the flow of life, but meeting at a middle ground and not closing the path to agreement is a sign of maturity. I was very saddened by this loud music incident when I arrived here. This is an act of torment. I am with you under all circumstances."
