Yeniden Refah Party Chairman Fatih Erbakan, in his speech at his party's Istanbul Provincial Congress, explained that they had signed a 30-point protocol with the AKP before the 2023 elections and supported the People's Alliance (Cumhur İttifakı) within the framework of this protocol.

According to the report by Sözcü, Erbakan stated that their demands included in the protocol, such as a balanced budget, education and health reforms, and a system based on merit rather than nepotism, were not fulfilled. He also emphasized that waste in the public sector should be ended and that unfair resources should not be transferred to privileged holding companies.

Erbakan said, "We demanded justice in distribution, administration, and the judiciary; they did none of it. We continue to warn them for both this world and the hereafter."

ECONOMIC CRITICISMS

Erbakan also criticized the government over its economic policies. He stated, "This government is present in luxury villas, but not in the slums. It is present on luxury yachts, but not on tractors. You are absent in a balanced budget, but you are champions in interest payments. You have enriched a handful of usurers. You are present in interest, but absent in production. This government is present in indebting the citizens, but absent in income and wallets."
