Erbakan's statement on presidential candidacy

Commenting on the issue, New Welfare Party Chairman Fatih Erbakan drew attention to the importance of such unions between right-wing and conservative parties, but used the following expression regarding the presidential candidacy: “I am the presidential candidate. It is out of the question for us to support Abdullah Gül. If right-wing parties come together, we would also support Mansur Yavaş.”

Emphasizing that his party will participate in the election race with its own candidate, Erbakan stated that it is natural for his name to be mentioned in possible cooperation scenarios and that they will act in that direction.
