In the CHP Central Executive Board (MYK), famous actor Erdal Beşikçioğlu was proposed as the mayoral candidate for Ankara's Etimesgut district. The CHP Party Assembly (PM) accepted the proposal and approved his candidacy.
STATEMENT FROM ÖZEL
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, in his statement on the matter, said, "When I shared this idea with Mr. Mansur, Mr. Mansur liked it quite a bit. I hope he still likes it. There is nothing for him to object to. Perhaps there could be something else regarding Etimesgut. He will add strength to Mr. Mansur's power. I do not think there will be any problem there."
WHO IS ERDAL BEŞİKÇİOĞLU?
Actor Erdal Beşikçioğlu was born on January 5, 1970. He completed his secondary education at the İzmir Private Turkish College. He graduated from İzmir Narlıdere Mehmet Seyfi Eraltay High School. In 1989, he entered the Hacettepe University State Conservatory. In 1993, the year he graduated, he began working as an actor at the State Theaters. During the 1995-96 season, he served as acting director at the Diyarbakır State Theater. He has starred in famous films such as Hayat Var, Eve Giden Yol, and Barda.
