Turkey has entered the local election atmosphere. Political parties have accelerated their efforts for the elections to be held on March 31, 2024.

While the possibility of an alliance on the opposition front has disappeared, a striking claim has been made regarding the People's Alliance.

Speaking as a guest on Tv100, Millet News Agency Editor-in-Chief Sinan Burhan claimed that the People's Alliance's candidates in Mersin, Adana, and Manisa will be from the MHP.

Stating that Erdoğan and Bahçeli have reached an agreement, Burhan provided the following inside information regarding the local elections: "Bahçeli and Erdoğan held a meeting last week. Up until today, the main outlines and framework regarding the local elections had been formed during the meetings between the MHP and AK Party delegations. There was disagreement on one or two points. In this meeting, candidacies, the 50+1 issue, and the constitutional issue were discussed. It has been finalized that the People's Alliance's candidate in Mersin, Adana, and Manisa will be from the Nationalist Movement Party."
