The following statement was included in the written announcement made by the Directorate of Communications:
"The terrorist attacks that took place in Russia's Dagestan region were discussed during the call. During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that Turkey is against all forms of terrorism and that they condemn the attacks with hatred, while expressing his condolences to the Russian people for those who lost their lives and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured. President Erdoğan said that Turkey will continue to strive to end all conflicts in the region."
