Erdoğan claims ownership of IMM project: Response from CHP's Erdoğdu

AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan, claimed ownership of a project whose costs will be covered by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) .

Making a statement on his social media account, Erdoğan said, "With the motto 'Istanbul that connects, not complicates,' we continue to take steps to end our city's traffic ordeal. With the openings we will hold in the coming months, we will bring a rail system with a length of over 34 kilometers and 18 stations to our city within the scope of 4 separate projects."

RESPONSE FROM CHP TO ERDOĞAN

The response to Erdoğan came from CHP's Aykut Erdoğdu.

Erdoğdu wrote, "Just like the other subways built in Istanbul by the Ministry of Transport, the IMM, managed by Mr. @ekrem_imamoglu, will pay for the entire construction cost of this subway as well. Mr. Erdoğan won't tell this truth, but that's okay. We thank those who contributed to this investment."
