According to TRT Haber, the Scholz-Erdoğan meeting is expected to cover Israel's attacks on Gaza, as well as bilateral relations and Turkey-EU relations. Erdoğan last met with Scholz in person at the G20 Leaders' Summit held in India in September.
The two leaders evaluated the latest situation regarding the start of Israel's attacks on Gaza during a phone call. In their phone call on October 12, Israel's massacres in Palestine were discussed. Ways to resolve the humanitarian crisis were evaluated. Erdoğan and Scholz will meet in person in Berlin this time, two months later.
