President Erdoğan held a phone call with Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Salman.

In a post on the Directorate of Communications' social media account regarding the call, it was stated: "The meeting addressed bilateral relations between Turkey and Saudi Arabia, as well as regional and global issues. President Erdoğan expressed that they aim to further deepen cooperation between Turkey and Saudi Arabia through steps to be taken in the coming period. Our President stated that Turkey is closely following developments in Somalia and Yemen, and that preserving the territorial integrity of both countries is important for regional stability. President Erdoğan expressed that Turkey is ready to contribute to efforts to bring the parties together in Yemen. Our President noted that the humanitarian situation in Gaza has worsened with the onset of winter, and that Turkey continues to work toward achieving a permanent ceasefire and the reconstruction of Gaza."
