Erdoğan joins the 'executioner' polemic! Reaction to Barzani at the group meeting

President and AKP Chairman Erdoğan spoke at his party's TBMM Group Meeting.

Emphasizing that the growth figures announced on Monday were quite positive, President Erdoğan said, "Our economy has continued its growth trend, which it has maintained uninterruptedly for 21 quarters, in the third quarter of 2025 as well. The Turkish economy grew by 3.7 percent on an annual basis in the third quarter, maintaining its stable course. With this rate, we ranked fourth among OECD countries and fifth among G20 countries."

Another important development is the decline in our country's risk premium. Our CDS has fallen to 233 basis points, reaching its lowest level in the last 7 years. This morning, the November inflation figures were announced. We encountered a picture there as well that increased our hopes. Accordingly, our November inflation came in at 0.87. Core goods inflation fell to the 18 percent level. The decline in service inflation continues. We expect a rapid decline in rental inflation with our earthquake housing and social housing projects. I wish these good news to be auspicious for our country and our nation.

As I always say, Turkey's goal, route, and the path it will follow are clear. This goal is to permanently increase the prosperity of all 86 million people. This goal is to reach an economic size of 1.9 trillion dollars in 2028. This goal is to increase our goods exports to 375 billion dollars within the next 3 years. This goal is to generate 100 billion dollars in revenue from tourism again 3 years later.

This goal is to end the scourge of terrorism, which costs our country 2 trillion dollars, and to boost the Turkish economy. Despite the hot conflicts in our region, the uncertainties in the global economy, the trade wars ignited through customs tariffs, and the vile and desperate circles that play all sorts of games to block Turkey's path; thank God, we have not broken away from our goals and we are not doing so.

TARGETED CHP OVER THE CONGRESS

Kızılelma tests were conducted in Sinop. This global success was achieved in Sinop. The CHP Chairman had criticized these tests in Sinop by saying that the fish were being disturbed. Let us answer him with the famous words of Diogenes of Sinope; 'Stand out of my light, I do not want any other favor.' You go ahead and hold congress after congress, deal with your own internal issues, cleanse yourselves of the filth you are neck-deep in, and cleanse yourselves of the corrupt people within you. Do not stand in our light, that is enough for us.

ERDOĞAN'S 'EXECUTIONER' RESPONSE TO ÖZEL

Now he has come out and, like his predecessor Kılıçdaroğlu, whose name they can no longer even bear to hear, he is accusing some people of being executioners. What is it? That the DEM Party's contribution to the Terror-Free Turkey process is Stockholm syndrome; that is, falling in love with one's executioner. A person should have some shame, some embarrassment. Let's say you don't know Turkey, you have no idea about foreign policy, and you wouldn't know the first thing about economics; at least one should know their own history, their own dark record. Now, one must ask this gentleman: Have you never in your life read the history of the CHP, which is full of stains of shame? Have you never learned what single-party fascism put this nation through? You may not know who the executioner is and who the victim is, but my Kurdish brother knows very well who the executioner is. My nation knows very well who made hasty decisions at the Ulus Square and the Independence Tribunals and who kicked the stool from under the gallows.

Mr. Özel should not divert the target. If he has the courage and wants to see an executioner, he should look in the mirror, at his own history, and at the past of the CHP. He will see the executioner there already.
