Erdoğan meets with Chinese President Xi

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Chinese President Xi Jinping as part of his bilateral talks in Tianjin, China, where he arrived for the 25th Council of Heads of State Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan continues his contacts in the city of Tianjin, China, where he arrived for the 25th Council of Heads of State Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

President Erdoğan met with Chinese President Xi Jinping as part of his contacts.

During the meeting between the leaders, regional and global developments, as well as economic cooperation between Turkey and China and relations between the two countries, were discussed.

President Erdoğan is expected to hold bilateral meetings with the heads of state of other countries in the coming hours and subsequently attend the dinner to be hosted by the Chinese President and his wife in honor of the summit participants.

President Erdoğan is accompanied on his visit to China by his wife Emine Erdoğan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, and Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat.
