As the conflict in the region continues on its 11th day following the "Al-Aqsa Flood" attack launched against Israel by the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, on the morning of October 7, Israel targeted a hospital in Gaza.

The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that at least 500 people lost their lives in the Israeli forces' airstrike on the hospital.

One of the figures to react to this attack was AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan.

Erdoğan made the following statement on his official social media account:

"Striking a hospital containing women, children, and innocent civilians is the latest example of Israel's attacks devoid of the most basic human values.

I invite all of humanity to take action to stop this brutality in Gaza, which has no precedent in history."
