Erdoğan shuts the door on early elections! '4 years without elections...'

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made important statements during a holiday greeting program with AKP party organizations.

Erdoğan's statements:

The Palestinian people are spending another holiday with a heavy heart. The pain of our 38 thousand brothers and sisters weighs heavily on our hearts. We state at every opportunity that it is essential for the Netanyahu government to be stopped. As Turkey, we have mobilized all our resources for the establishment of lasting peace in our region. We have decided to intervene in the case filed at the ICJ. We have completely halted our foreign trade transactions. We are the country that delivers the most aid supplies to Gaza. We are striving for the Islamic world to act as one body. We are doing everything in our power to ensure the victory of our brothers and sisters who are defending their lands and paying the price for their rights.

Contacts are ongoing to end the fratricidal conflict that has been continuing in Sudan for more than a year. Wherever there is a tragedy, we continue to rush to the aid of the oppressed without making any distinctions. We will continue to be the hand, the voice, and the cry of the oppressed.

A holiday is about being the voice for the voiceless and holding the hands of orphans and the fatherless. A holiday is about strengthening our brotherhood. We want brotherhood to be firmly established among our people. We need to strengthen this partnership on other days of the year as well. We have not allowed arrogance, intolerance, or divisiveness to come near us.

'4 YEARS WITHOUT ELECTIONS...'

We see all of Turkey as brothers and embrace every one of our people. We will spend the next 4 years without elections filled with major projects and reforms in every field, and we will not allow even a single day to be wasted. Our economic program is progressing in a positive direction.

Starting from the second half of the year, we will receive better news regarding inflation. There is no rest for us until we rid Turkey of terrorism. We are gradually reuniting our brothers and sisters in the earthquake zone with their new homes. We aim to complete 200 thousand residences and deliver them to their rightful owners by the end of the year.

While the world is going through a period of great uncertainty, we do not have a single day to waste.

It is time for a unifying stance to prevail on the opposition front instead of a destructive one.
