Appointment decisions signed by Erdoğan published in the Official Gazette

According to the decision published in the Official Gazette with the signature of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, new appointments have been made to public institutions.

Within the scope of the decision, in accordance with Articles 2 and 3 of Presidential Decree No. 3, the following appointments were made within the Presidency of Religious Affairs: Sinan Kazancı, Mufti of Afyonkarahisar, was appointed as the Mufti of İzmir; Lüftü İmamoğlu, Mufti of Diyarbakır, as the Mufti of Afyonkarahisar; Celal Büyük, Mufti of Ağrı, as the Mufti of Diyarbakır; Necati Şafak as the Mufti of Ağrı; Mustafa Tekin, Mufti of Kahramanmaraş, as the Mufti of Kırşehir; Abdurrahman Kotan as the Mufti of Kahramanmaraş; and Selçuk Kılıçbay as the Mufti of Giresun.

Appointments to senior public management positions were made in accordance with Articles 2, 3, and 4 of Presidential Decree No. 3.

The appointments made to the Ministry of Treasury and Finance are as follows:

Hakan Güzel was appointed as the General Manager of Chief Legal Counsel and Proceedings; Yakup Tekin as the General Manager of Public Financial Management and Transformation; Ömer Karademir as the General Manager of Public Finance; Yiğit Korkmaz Yaşar as the General Manager of Debt Management;

Kerem Dönmez as the General Manager of Foreign Economic Relations; Deniz Yılmaz as the General Manager of Financial Markets and Exchange; Didem Bahar Özgün Yılmaz as the General Manager of Economic Programs and Research;

Mert Özarar was appointed as the General Manager of Information Technologies; Muhsin Atcı as the President of the Tax Inspection Board; Ahmet Tutal as the President of the Treasury Controllers Board; Mustafa Koç as the Head of Strategy Development; Bekir Bayrakdar as the Head of the Revenue Administration; Bekir Emre Haykır as the President of the Privatization Administration; and Şinasi Candan as the General Manager and Chairman of the Board of the State Supply Office.

In the Ministry of Culture and Tourism; Bülent Çınar Çavuş was appointed as the Uludağ Area President, Alirıza Özdemir as the President of Alevi-Bektashi Culture and Cemevi, and Esin Saykan as the Vice President of Alevi-Bektashi Culture and Cemevi.

In the Ministry of National Education, Cengiz Mete was appointed as the General Manager of Lifelong Learning, while Zarife Seçer was appointed as the General Manager of Basic Education.

The appointments made to senior public management positions in the Ministry of Industry and Technology are as follows:

Abdullah Başar was appointed as the General Manager of Strategic Research and Productivity; Mehmet Bozdemir as the General Manager of Metrology and Industrial Product Safety; Hüseyin Cahit Büyükbaş as the General Manager of Incentive Implementation and Foreign Capital; Alper Güzel as the General Manager of National Technology; Muhammet Bilal Macit as the General Manager of R&D Incentives; Ahmet Şimşek as the General Manager of Development Agencies;

Abdurrahman Aydın was appointed as the General Manager of Industrial Zones; Ahmet Halit Hatip as the General Manager of European Union and Foreign Relations; Erol Ökten as the General Manager of Administrative Services; Necdet Sıtkı Yakupçebioğlu as the Head of Strategy Development;

Ahmet Serdar İbrahimcioğlu was appointed as the President of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB); Muhammed Zeki Durak as the President of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office; and Yusuf Kıraç as the President of the Turkish Space Agency.

Within the scope of the appointment decisions, furthermore; Dr. Faculty Member Yusuf Atan, a faculty member at Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, was appointed as a Forensic Medicine Member of the First Forensic Medicine Specialization Board of the Council of Forensic Medicine; Dr. Faculty Member Muhammed Fatih Şimşekoğlu, a faculty member at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, was appointed as a Urology Member of the Sixth Forensic Medicine Specialization Board of the Council of Forensic Medicine;

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emin Köse, a faculty member at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, was appointed as a General Surgery Member of the Eighth Forensic Medicine Specialization Board of the Council of Forensic Medicine; Hüseyin Kocabıçak was appointed as a Chief Labor Inspector at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security;

Nevzat Şatıroğlu was appointed as a Board Member at the Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ); Etem Çeker as a Board Member at the Electricity Generation Corporation (EÜAŞ); Fazlı Uncu and Oktay Şahin as Board Members at the Turkish Hard Coal Authority (TTK); Mustafa Özel as the Provincial Director of National Education for Bingöl; and Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker as the President of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA).
