President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made evaluations to journalists after performing the Eid prayer in his hometown of Güneysu, Rize.
Stating that tension continues in the region and that Israel's practices have led to serious loss of life, Erdoğan said, "The Middle East is currently boiling, and this Zionist Israel, as is known, has massacred hundreds, thousands of people. God willing, I have no doubt that they will pay the price for this."
