President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh at the Dolmabahçe Working Office.
During the meeting between Erdoğan and Haniyeh, the focus was on Israel's attacks on Gaza. Erdoğan emphasized that Palestinians must remain united during this period. Touching upon trade restrictions, Erdoğan stated that the process for sanctions against Israel has been initiated.
He also added that Turkey is making diplomatic efforts to draw international attention to the attacks against Palestine.
The meeting began around 14:30 in the afternoon and concluded at 17:00.
